I am a results driven Engineering Manager with a hands on approach to leading and managing teams of skilled tradesmen and contractors in manufacturing organisations and on engineering projects. With extensive experience in driving change from reactive to proactive maintenance I have utilised continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles to reduce costs and increase reliability. From a background in risk management I have developed a passion for safety introducing OHS&E systems and methodologies to reduce and eliminate risks creating safe working environments. The utilisation of 5S principles has allowed me to gain a great deal of satisfaction in completing extensive site improvement initiatives leading to major facility upgrades to buildings and other infrastructure.
