Youth & Family Specialist: Youth & Family Specialists provide services to children, youth, and families experiencing or at risk of mental health crisis, out of home placement, or court system involvement. Services increase protective factors so families remain intact and family members are functioning in the community. This creates fewer hospitalizations, out of home placements, and secure detention holds along with more stable family dynamics. Provide skill based instruction and psychoeducation to improve functioning, reduce symptoms, and promote recovery. Facilitate groups in community and schools as well as meet individually with family members at home and in the community. Along with various other duties.CST Coordinator: As a CST Coordinator I have a comprehensive knowledge of the human service system; have knowledge of how to access area resources; skilled in written and oral communication; and I am able to successfully faciliate groups and work well with diverse groups of people. I am certified through the State of Wisconsin to conduct the CANS-Comprehensive Assessment when working with clients. As a CST Coordinator I facilitate groups with the concepts of voice, access, and ownership being the key pieces when working with families.Recent Trainings: Coordinated Services Team Training, Prevention Specialist Training, Ethics in Prevention Work, Substance Abuse Prevention Skills Training, Serving Victims of Crime Conference, and CADCA's Mid-Year Training Institute.

Maintain security and discipline while supervising and/or participating in the daily activities of the residents such as dining, cleaning, visitation and recreational activities. Enforce rules and regulations of the facility and document infractions. Observe youth's behavior; conversations and associations; keeps logs on youth's behavior. Various other duties as required.

Duties included; traffic enforcement, medical emergencies, investigative work, school safety presentations, transporting of arrested subjects, working with other law enforcement agencies, and various other police related duties.
