Transitioning from mergers and acquisitions at GE Capital through to sports marketing, sponsorship, and advertising within a global sports, events, media, and fashion company, Ben cut his teeth at the forefront of event engineering and commercial transactions and became suited to founding a suite of companies.   2005 heralded a new chapter in event delivery and programming around Ben’s talent. Identifying a need in the market for a healthy and active children’s lifestyle brand, Aktiva Camps was founded in London, providing Ofsted Outstanding Holiday Camps and extended school events across the south-east.   With the knowledge and know-how gained throughout this era, the Aktiva brand ventured into nursery education, providing active, healthy lifestyle learning to children from 3 months of age. Over time, the series of nurseries have grown exponentially, continually educating and supporting our new generation   BADASS Studios is an extension of the successes of the Aktiva family. Alongside co-founder Alex Sangwin-Skillen, they founded BADASS, a gaming and music events company. BADASS provides a platform for talented university and college students who are gamers, writers, and musicians to excel in their industry. We manage, market, and promote talent to generate commercial activities within this growth sector, building confidence and broadening experience for all of our stakeholders.   Ben was educated in London and Paris, finished his schooling at Millfield in Somerset, and is now currently living in London with his wife and two children.
