The primary focus as a condition monitoring technician is to maintain equipment throughout fixed plant, through the provision of accurate and timely information gathered from inspection, assessment and monitoring of equipment and facilitate the improvement of safety, reliability, maintainability and operability of equipment assets. Responsibilities and Achievements:• Assuring the efficient delivery of condition monitoring tactics for fixed and mobile equipment.• Establish and cultivate networks with asset health coordinators and lubrication technicians to ensure the plant maintainers and operations team is fully supported• Working with maintenance to assure smooth execution of the condition monitoring and lubrication schedules• Providing asset health and condition monitoring support to the maintenance teams• Identify key leverage for improvement - costs/reliability/capacity• Reviewed applicable condition monitoring data in order to provide timely advice to maintenance planning on suitable course of actions for the optimization of component life• Worked with Reliability Engineering, OEMs, CM Vendors and other technical support to assure optimal condition monitoring tactics are implemented• Provided technical support to operations and maintenance• Analyse plant data and provide recommendations on appropriate courses of action to ensure targets are met / exceeded. • Provide technical and engineering support for the Plant Operations and Plant Maintenance Teams. • Ensure safety and environmental key objectives and targets are achieved. • Assist with the development and delivery of training programs.

Structural integrity projectso Assisted in the execution/implementation for corrosion repairs on the secondary screen house. Level 2 risk assessments, lift plans and reviewed all safety procedures throughout execution of the project. o (B2 Life Extension projects:Identifying, prioritising, and implementing a number of projects within fixed plant to ensure reliability, safety, and health of the asset to extend the operational life of the plant from 2014 to 2019.

Tracked builders request for information (RFI’s), defects and continually liaised with the design team. o Excavation and Earthmoving, (ACT, Hume) – Approval phase, Liaise with builder and council to close out project.

Downstream operations refers to refining of petroleum crude oil and processing and purifying of raw natural gas, as well as the marketing and distribution of products derived from crude oil and natural gas. The shell refinery in Geelong and Terminal in spotswood was sold in 21/02/2014. I worked as a vacation student on a number of structural integrity projects and operational excellence projects. The main projects are listed below: o Independent Hi Hi - Rolled out standardised equipment across all Shell Sites in Australia. o CCTV Centralised - Developed a project brief for live stream CCTV footage to a centralised site to monitor safety and security at remote sites. o Critical Spares List - Communicate with operators/fitters what equipment needs to be in stores on site at a regional site and overseas to better improve stores logistics and plant downtime
