As a legal practitioner, I provided experienced and results-driven legal representation in the areas of white collar criminal and civil litigation, business consulting, and dispute resolution. In the white collar practice area, I drew upon prior experience as former federal prosecutor to represent individuals and corporations in white collar criminal and regulatory investigations and prosecutions. Cincinnati, Ohio

Led Baker Hostetler's Cincinnati-office White Collar, Corporate Investigations, and Compliance practice, drawing upon my experience as a former federal prosecutor in Ohio and Kentucky in representing both individuals and corporations in federal and state criminal investigations and prosecutions. Significant representations included environental, tax, fraud, healthcare, organized crime, money laundering, and Bank Secrecy Act investigations and prosecutions. Also maintained an active civil litigation practice. Significant civil experience included co-chairing a two-week trial in U.S. Tax Court in Washington, D.C. Also obtained significant experience in areas of mediation and settlement negotiation. Significant experience in this area included negotiating a $15M settlement with the Kentucky Attorney General's office on behalf of a corporate healthcare client.

Represented the United States in prosecuting the spectrum of federal crimes as Assistant United States Attorney first in the Southern District of Ohio and then in the Eastern District of Kentucky. Specialized in prosecuting sophisticated white collar matters and notable prosecutions included 4 successful RICO prosecutions. First-chaired or co-chaired approximately 25 jury trials. Led several white collar task forces, including Bank Secrecy Act Task Force, and was recognized for prosecutorial accomplishments by Internal Revenue Service (Criminal Division), Federal Bureau of Investigation, United States Secret Service, and United States Postal Inspection Service, among others.
