Cambridge, MA: I worked on development of Micromegas front-end electronics, specifically calibration of onboard DACs for test pulse generation. Most of my work was in C++ (ROOT) and python, where I helped to develop a calibration GUI.June-August 2016. Meyrin, Switzerland: I'm working on the Higgs->WW* analysis, under postdoc Alex Tuna and graduate student Karri DiPetrillo. I'm using Monte Carlo-generated events to understand the flavor breakdown of the irreducible W+jets background in the gluon-gluon fusion and vector boson fusion channels, where the jet is falsely reconstructed as a lepton.August 2016-April 2017. Assisted with data collection and analysis of muon tracks collected with a Micromegas octuplet at the Harvard Cosmic Ray Telescope. -
