Worked under Melissa Franklin in the Harvard University Laboratory for Particle Physics and Cosmology.January-May 2016. Cambridge, MA: I worked on development of Micromegas front-end electronics, specifically calibration of onboard DACs for test pulse generation. Most of my work was in C++ (ROOT) and python, where I helped to develop a calibration GUI.June-August 2016. Meyrin, Switzerland: I'm working on the Higgs->WW* analysis, under postdoc Alex Tuna and graduate student Karri DiPetrillo. I'm using Monte Carlo-generated events to understand the flavor breakdown of the irreducible W+jets background in the gluon-gluon fusion and vector boson fusion channels, where the jet is falsely reconstructed as a lepton.August 2016-April 2017. Assisted with data collection and analysis of muon tracks collected with a Micromegas octuplet at the Harvard Cosmic Ray Telescope.

The Harvard Glee Club is a fifty-voice men's chorus at Harvard University. It is entirely student-managed and is a 501(c)3 nonprofit music organization. As Vice President (May 2015-May 2016), I am the second member of the Executive Committee, as well as running Glee Club social events.As Marketing Manager / CMO (1/2015-12/2015), I was responsible for developing the Glee Club's brand equity and concert attendance, including:- Developing outreach programs to audience sectors that might not hear about our concerts.- Creating a program advertisement sale effort to help fund tours.- Managing the five-man marketing team, including publicity, sales, programs, and design.As Vice President (5/2015-5/2016), I ran the Glee Club's social activities as well as running the Glee Club's Executive Committee several times in the president's absence.

Principles of Scientific Inquiry is an introductory physics lab course with a focus on intuition-breaking experiments and statistical analysis of data and models. As course assistant, I:• Taught students techniques of data collection and statistical analysis.• Helped students develop models of physical systems and analyze the fit of model and data.• Worked with course heads to improve student experience and maximize learning.

The Harvard Glee Club is a 501(c)3 nonprofit choral organization serving the Harvard community and Greater Boston Area. As program manager, I:- Designed a program for each concert, including song order, lyrics and translations, program notes, and bios of the choir(s) and conductor(s).- Coordinated editing, printing, and distributing programs.- Participated in marketing activities for the Glee Club.

I worked under Professor Slava Rotkin and graduate student Michael Blades on AMO research in the preliminary steps of an experiment on FRET (non-radiative energy transfer) between rare earth ions and DNA-wrapped carbon nanotubes in solution. For this research, I developed a microfluidics system, designing the pneumatics, electronics, and software interface. I worked mostly in C for AVR and Arduino programming, as well as electronics design work.

AlterG is a medical device company whose original product, the Anti-Gravity Treadmill, is used in physical therapy clinics, nursing homes, and by professional sports teams to help people recover from leg injuries and surgery. As an intern, I:- Assisted the R&D team (Sep-Dec), Marketing (Jan-Mar), and Inside Sales (Apr-May) with ongoing projects: - Designed and built prototypes for a new product in development, working closely with engineers - Updated the company website, helped run a customer survey to inform marketing and sales - Researched and cold-called potential customers across the US- Headed a project analyzing auxiliary safety products for customer use, reporting to the marketing team.
