I'm using Monte Carlo-generated events to understand the flavor breakdown of the irreducible W+jets background in the gluon-gluon fusion and vector boson fusion channels, where the jet is falsely reconstructed as a lepton.August 2016-April 2017. Assisted with data collection and analysis of muon tracks collected with a Micromegas octuplet at the Harvard Cosmic Ray Telescope.
