I am remotely delivering learning material as part of the Employment Plus programme, helping to provide people with tools to get back in to work. Training covers topics such as CV creation, interview skills and well-being support in both group settings and 1-2-1 sessions.

Filming, editing and publishing video content for the Catavan travel blog Youtube Channel. While travelling around Europe, I would record video footage of the journeys to be edited together and published on a weekly basis on our Youtube channel. This was a video diary format, but we also pushed to include useful information about the locations we were visiting. Due to the time we were capturing this footage, it also provided a unique insight into the then unraveling COVID situation. We also ran a weekly podcast detailing our journey, providing travel tips for others looking to explore the continent in a campervan with a pet.

Writing and editing articles and thought pieces relating to video games and the video games industry. These articles covered a range of topics from discussions about specific video game series, narrative structures used in video games and video game-related hardware and my particular experiences with it. This role also included sourcing relevant images to accompany the articles, and all pieces were written with SEO in mind to maximize their visibility online.

Starting as a shop floor operative, I was involved in a variety of different roles within the company, ultimately resulting in my attendance of evening classes to earn my Level 2&3 Electrical Installation qualification, allowing me to become head of the electrical department within EcoAir Box. EcoAir Box produced bespoke HVAC units in-house, and often required these units to be broken down and re-built on site. As part of the dedicated site-build team, myself and my team worked together to create a procedure of work that allowed us to consistently complete these projects well within their deadlines and to the highest standard. This work often included working with tight constraints around other on-going works and in less-than-ideal situations, working closely with the site manager and project co-coordinators to ensure all considerations were taken into account at all times.
