I am the technical lead and architect for our platform and ML/Graph capabilities

As the Principal Engineer and Architect at Percayai, I am responsible for designing and developing key components of both our Life Sciences and Healthcare platforms.

My area of focus as a Principal Engineer in our Platform division is a group called Platform Operating Systems. We own and develop the core Identity services, specifically Authentication, Authorization, Org & User Management, and Secrets Management. My primary role is that of architect and problem solver, in addition to mentoring engineers and helping all of engineering to level up.

Olive’s Knowledge Graph team has been working on building out a world class healthcare semantic web and developing a set of platform tools that enable developers to harness the power of the graph quickly and easily inside of their applications. I joined at the genesis of the project when there were only two engineers and myself, and have grown it into a division of more than 30 people. We now offer a complete end to end ecosystem from ontological modeling and mapping to the development of multiple SDKs that make integrating securely with our knowledge APIs simple in Rust, Python, Java, and JavaScript. Along the way I have played the dual role of engineering leader and principal architect, being intimately involved in both the hiring and development of an elite group of engineers, and designing, prototyping, and guiding the technical direction of every piece of our platform.

I lead our Data Science Applications team which focuses on Search, Content Matching, and custom ML models deployed at massive scale. As a multidisciplinary team, we provide a complete lifecycle for AI products in our company: Problem Framing, Ideation, Deep Dive & Research, MVP/POC, Production Service, Large Scale Deployment, Ongoing Maintenance.

• Design complex, analytical processes, which are long-term stable, geared toward helping manage our assets and product offerings with a data-driven mindset• Use Python, C#, R, and SQL (SQL Server 2014; SSRS; SSIS; ETL; Management Studio) to develop highly efficient applications of mathematics and computational science for business needs• Use creative, innovative, state-of-the-art data mining techniques to uncover meaningful relationships in our in-house databases and third-party data• Leverage the power of data to unlock new revenue streams in our current parking system, as well as utilize my technical expertise to consult and support growth opportunities in the parking and transportation industry

• Develop complex predictive models for campaign segmentation, digital marketing strategy, new and prospective businesses, and optimizing the rewards programs for our clients• Use creative, innovative, state-of-the-art data mining techniques to uncover meaningful relationships in our in-house databases and external/client multi-tender data• Lead multi-person and multi-departmental teams to further analytic understandings, capabilities, and impacts for the overall business• Use SAS, R, and SQL to develop highly efficient applications of mathematics for marketing, risk, and financial needs• Mentor and foster growth and development among other statisticians and consultants through white papers, one-on-one and group training sessions, and encouraging creative and mathematically rigorous solutions to business problems

• Created and actively manage an analytics relationship between Alliance Data and our largest client by being available at their headquarters, assisting in their analytics needs, and proposing and executing new initiatives to further their overall brand sales• Own the concept and creation of large-scale, cross-client customer behavior studies, profiles, analyses and reporting, serving as primary analyst and as necessary assembling additional support from other team members. • Understand and analyze large amount of transactional, behavioral, attribute, usage and other appended data to extract insights. Act as the SME on customer/consumer attribute and behavior data. • Incorporating findings into proof points supporting prospect pitches, earnings calls, client visits, and internal/external marketing communications.• Pioneer on data science initiatives, including but not limited to text analytics, social media analysis, data mining and data processing to help develop analytics advantage for the company. Advocate and champion the applications of data science initiatives.• Arm internal and external sales force with impactful knowledge of consumer profiles and behavioral trends. • Complete Ad-hoc data requests to support internal partners and external clients• Drive interactions with sales team, and other internal partners, to collaborate on data driven solutions and support/influence business decision making• Champion change and innovation, challenge the status quo, and demonstrate exceptional efficiency in the areas of tool enhancement, data discovery, visualization, variable creation and automation.• Represent department on large, cross-functional initiatives in larger, cross-functional activities, which have heightened visibility as necessary and display comfort with various levels of management throughout the organization.

Design and execute complex quantitative studies that provide deep insights, forecasting, and recommendations for key populations based on geospatial, demographic, and longitudinal behavior data. Create suites of SAS code and macros that automate and facilitate mathematical analysis tools such as simulated systems, forecasting, clustering, and predicting.

Develop SAS macros and Excel reports to provide clients with valuable information about targeted segments of cardholders.

The primary course that I teach is Financial Mathematics. In this course I show students the true power that mathematics has when it comes to taking control of their financial futures. I help them to see how they can analyze stocks and businesses with the mathematical prowess that they have in the hope of opening a door to financial independence and planning.I also teach other freshman level courses such as Basic College Mathematics.

As a research assistant I work with a group that studies dynamical systems and their applications to mathematical biology. My primary role with the group is the design and development of mathematical software to aid in our computational endeavors. In addition, I am currently engaged in theoretical treatments of the transfer of dynamical properties between Boolean networks and corresponding systems of ordinary differential equations.My teaching assistant duties involve me teaching one class per quarter--usually a pre-calculus or higher course. In the mathematics department of Ohio University we as teaching assistants lead our own courses and our considered the sole instructor of the course.
