As the Lumber manager the most important this i do is to make sure that our customers get over and above service.Insuring that they come back to the store to shop with us over and over again . Also responsible for bring in new clients, Looking after all there needs whether it is a pound of nails or a 10 story professional building.Working with suppliers to insure that i have all the inventory i need at the right price to accommodate our customers.Managing staff and merchandising the store to ensure its success.

As a owner /partner I was responsible for all aspects of running your own store. The Morning would start at 6:30 am everyday as I put the key in the door, and end everyday sometime between 5 pm and midnight, depending on what had to be done to open the next morning. We had up to 15 full time staff and just as many people doing work for us outside the store. We were involved in supplying all the materials for projects as large as full housing complexes and as small as the one man cutting small things on his scroll saw. Also had a full carpentry manufacturing plant in the yard were we would build different thing for other stores, We had over 50 stores across Canada and the us that we would ship things to .
