Current theory of change: Matching climate challenges with at-scale technology/validated models from other industries to rapidly deploy de-risked climate solutions. Examples include Fervo Energy (using fracking technology for geothermal) and Vaulted Deep (using oil & gas tech for storing carbon underground). In the US, I founded a synthetic biology startup Wild Microbes making sustainable chemicals and foods: venture backed, 12 employees, paying customers. In Kenya, I spent six years building a waste-to-energy company where I designed, built, and operated factories around the country. Experienced operator and climate entrepreneur. I also love the growing field of biomimetic design, which emulates nature's genius to solve modern problems 🌱
