As a graduate assistant my role is help with planning and executing four recruitment events in the fall, and six yield events in the Spring of each academic year. I also present information sessions for prospective students, prepping acceptance and scholarship packets, and assisting with two Carolina and McNair Scholar weekends

• Innovate positional duties, benchmarks, and success metrics as the first person to serve in this role• Supervise 40 Peer Consultants and implement an engaging multimodal training curriculum throughout the year• Coordinate full-cycle recruitment for over 240 Peer Leader positions using intentional outreach and recruitment strategies• Supervise and guide the professional development of one graduate assistant and one professional staff member• Manage a budget totaling $45,000 for training, programming, event implementation, and Peer Leader salaries• Establish and maintain collaborative cross-campus partnerships to promote a wider use of our academic support services• Spearhead an institution-wide COVID-19 communication project, coordinating 170 volunteers to call over 16,000 students on a condensed timeline• Collect, report, and analyze data on program usage, effectiveness, and satisfaction; the 20,000 calls received by the call center each semester; and student success outcomes from services utilized

My duties were to plan and schedule events for 800 prospective students in the fall, lead monthly meetings for all 36 tour guides, and organized weekly tours twice a day for prospective students. Also I had personnel duties such as hiring staff, plan and execute training sessions and evaluate employee performance.
