The objective of this internship was to produce a presentation on the opportunities for a Social Infrastructure Fund in the United States. In order to create the presentation, I extensively researched markets in the United States that had a need for privately funded social infrastructure. This included conducting interviews with mayors, real estate analysts, and brokers throughout the Northeastern U.S. In order to demonstrate the potential inventory, I put together a pipeline of opportunities worth $400m. Additionally, I worked with my mentor to produce high level underwriting for the Fund to show the feasibility. Ultimately, I presented my work to Franklin Templeton's Real Asset Advisors Team.

Worcester, Massachusetts

The Campus Visit Coordinator position is a selective undergraduate office opportunity within the Admissions Office. The duties of the Campus Visit Coordinator include scheduling student workers, presenting at monthly meetings best practices, and managing the daily visits of prospective students through Slate. Prior to this position, I worked as a tour guide for three years and was elected to serve as the student representative on the University Admissions and Financial Aid Committee.

Worcester, Massachusetts

At Centro, I volunteered in a variety of positions including their food pantry, marketing, and grant departments. The food pantry strengthened my Spanish fluency as Centro serves many Hispanic and Latinx community members. The marketing department put together several cultural events including an annual celebration at the Worcester City Common with 15,000 attendees. Lastly, the grant department exposed me to different types of community grants and strategies to grant applications.
