A senior member of the Executive management team leading a team of 550+ FTE's helping to delivery 25% of the Electricity supply in Scotland. Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesManaging a team of 9 direct reports, with full responsibility for Materials Management & Supply Chain planning for the company (8 Nuclear Power Stations & 1 Coal Powered Station). Responsibility covered +140 functional reports, £202m spares holdings, £24m spend p.a. for <500 suppliers, 370k different spares & 31 warehouses. This role was to develop the key Strategies, processes, systems & skills within the British Energy Supply Chain for Procurement Engineering & Materials Management at a Fleet / Station level.
