I am an independent and hardworking 20-year-old student athlete, currently studying a a bachelors degree in Business and Marketing. Prior to university I had been living away from home since the age of 16 to pursue a football scholarship at Scunthorpe United. I soon made a move closer to home, captaining Gateshead FC youth side for a season, which entailed a lot of first team experience and valuable learning curves. With the uncertainty of football, a day came where I wanted to find balance so I altered my focus, concentrating more towards the academic side as well as my sporting passion. Therefore I had accepted a scholarship at Northumbria University, which I have accepted again ahead of my final academic year. During this time I have picked up a number of hustles, such as coaching, campaigns and social events before finding a more suitable job for me in marketing. Already looking forward how to improve and what’s next.
