Briefed with taking some of the UK's most loved public IP to audio series, I am responsible for a team of scriptwriters delivering high-performing shows specifically for the UK market. Adapting classic novels, I lead brainstorms and script development, as well as using AI models and tools to test voices, stories and audience reaction. This role marries creativity with technical developments, and enables me to bring to life favourites such as Sherlock Holmes and H.G.Wells for a modern, paying, audience. I am also licensing current works into the ecosystem, working with fiction writers of high-performing novels and their agents.

Creating premium shows and social content for Wizarding World (Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts franchise). I managed the franchise YouTube channel, and participated in a wide array of responsibilities ranging from production/directing to contractual agreements and creative development. Developed and produced brand partnership videos, shot fan-focussed documentaries and published premium series commissioned from production partners.

Promoted to this senior management role, continued to work across the group’s portfolio of companies, managing and executive producing all digital media, digital vided, branded content and social campaigns. My role spans both original pieces and spin-offs of existing broadcast television productions. Highlights include exec producing the multi-award winning broadcast and online CBBC series Secret Life of Boys and overseeing the digital and social elements of programmes such as Channel 4’s The Crystal Maze and The Secret Life of 5-Year-Olds and BBC One’s Eat Well for Less. I also co-created the first Twitter-based play-along reality show for ITV2.In addition, I was responsible for all digital development, including idea creation, working with talent, treatment writing, pitching and making sample apps and content tasters.Oversaw all digital AFP and worked closely with the broadcast teams, advising on the production of non-linear programmes whilst establishing ways of using new technologies to create new ways of storytelling. Developed and ran YouTube channels based on owned content, and managed business relationships with broadcasters running channels with Banijay brands.

Worked across the entire group of UK companies, including RDF Television, IWC Media, Fizz, The Comedy Unit and Touchpaper, working with the wider editorial teams to develop and produce original, platform-specific short-form content across social media, online channel, live streaming and gaming. Grew social audience and advised on and implemented new ways of using content to develop programme’s brands.

Responsible for all original content across this multi-channel network, managing the development, production and delivery of ongoing formats and single pieces across a wide variety YouTube channels. Managed a team and led the creative vision and commercial strategies. Created a number of TV shows from the IP I developed.

Led digital production operations across ITV’s largest scripted productions, including Coronation Street, Emmerdale and A Touch of Frost, and their sponsors. Managed and coached a team and responsible for developing, pitching, producing and delivering all original content for online and social platforms, ensuring they were in line with the company’s commercial and editorial strategies. Created large digital stunts, created short-form spinoff series and grew the use and popularity of the social media channels. Worked closely with sponsors, including Aviva, Compare the Market and P&O, to produce engaging branded content pieces which would promote their brand whilst proving engaging to ITV audiences.

Recruited to develop commercially successful interactive formats for broadcast and digital. Hits include Big Brother for C4 (where I was also an exec producer), reality formats for Bebo and drama for MSN. I sold more than £1m of formats to ITV, BBC Switch and Channel 4 as well as key partner brands.

Began working in the New Product Development team where I helped launch the Sky + device (I am names on the patent), as well as developing the Sky Gnome (own invention) and the Sky Games Controller. In addition, I developed many digital services including interactive advertising functionality. I later went on to lead digital propositions withing Sky One where I won a BAFTA for my work in drama, and created a 24/7 always-on revenue generating red-button service.
