Re:Coded is a non-profit teaching coding and other tech skills to refugees, women and other groups in MENA funded largely by governments. As CPO I oversaw 27 employees delivering the student experience, including teaching and careers. I reported to the CEO.- Scaled up bootcamps from 75 students to 230 while keeping the team at the same size- Led the organisation’s strategy process, culminating in a new long term goal to support 10,000 people in MENA into jobs in tech- Oversaw the development of a new, async series of programs which impacted 4000 learners in two years- Oversaw a digital transformation project, building out Salesforce for all programmatic functions to reduce the time taken to find key student, donor and impact data by 80%- Created a new student issue management system that saw us reduce the time taken to resolve student code of conduct breaches by 75%- Maintained NPS at 70+ during the scale up with a focus on staff training, including teaching skills- Supported 90%+ of eligible students into jobs by designing and overseeing the implementation of a new careers program

Flatiron School provides the skills, community, and immersive, outcomes-driven curriculum adults need to launch a career in Software Engineering, Data Science or Cybersecurity. They offer courses online, in campuses across the United States and, in 2018-2020, London. Flatiron School was a subsidiary of WeWork.While in this role:- I oversaw the growth of the London Campus: launching three new courses (from one to four), tripling the number of students and doubling the education team from 9 to 22- Student Net Promoter Scores increased from an average of 20 to 50- I worked closely with campus and central teams to ensure clarity around policies - student complaints have fallen by 50% and process improvement on attendance expectations means compliance has risen from 45% to 99%- Increased the ratio of teacher to students from 1:5 to 1:8 while maintaining quality, saving £210k on possible annual salary costs

Teach First is an Education Charity focused on building a fair education for all. In this role I operationalised and scaled up two progammes: an access programme for secondary school students hoping to go to the best universities and a school-based Careers Leaders training programme. Achievements:- Scoped and created a new role, saving the charity ~ £300k in projected headcount costs- Trained and prepared the existing team for the new role: in their first year of the role the team delivered 100% satisfaction from participants, the first example of this in Teach First’s history- Led the national expansion of a university access programme from 1150 students to 1600 (131 schools to 182) - Project managed the development of ~300 resources to support front line delivery through streamlining the charity’s internal quality assurance process- Matrix managed a team of nine and saw a significant increase in staff engagement scores

Achievements:- Led a team of seven who worked with ~250 teachers training in schools - Reduced withdrawals on the programme by fifteen percent, through training, coaching and stakeholder management with school leaders and university tutors- Made a successful case for teacher wellbeing support that reduced spend by ~£20k per annum - Led national recruitment for our teacher coach role, creating a new assessment centre and recruiting 23 coaches- Created a process for developing content that removed 200 hours of duplicated work
