I provide legal counsel on a diverse range of public contracts. Serving as Caltrans headquarters in-house counsel, my role includes negotiating and drafting a variety of contracts, as well as ensuring that the contracts comply with state law requirements.

I represented and advised private funds and institutional investors in predominantly LP side secondary transactions, co-investments, and direct investments. I negotiated and drafted Purchase and Sale Agreements, Assignment Agreements, Partnership Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Equity Commitment Letters, Limited Guarantees, and Investor Side Letters. I also maintained a strong pro bono practice assisting with LGBTQIA+ individuals’ name changes for federal and state documents, providing legal advice to low-income individuals through legal clinics, and assisting on asylum claims.

While at Astound, I worked with the Litigation, Corporate, and Contracts team. For the Corporate team, I was primarily tasked with researching and drafting memorandums on current matters, including the implications of corporate restructuring. For the Litigation team, I researched and drafted memorandums on employment law, disability law, and contractual disputes. For the Contracts team, I also researched several issues and drafted memorandum on contractual terms and damages. Additionally, I reviewed and edited Master Service Agreements, Statement of Work Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, and Non-Disclosure Agreements.

While working with the Transportation Team, I drafted responses to motions filed with the Public Utilities Commission regarding required data disclosures by transportation network companies; reviewed and updated city contracts; researched and drafted memorandums on ADA compliance, data privacy, and preemption issues; and researched effects of a proposed merger of companies holding city contracts.
