System Integration - All software packages in the company must be integrated with the main Oracle ERP system. My job is to design, develop, implement, and service these integrations.Business Process Improvements - My job is to work with our user community to design and develop Business Process Improvements. These improvements are to provide improved data quality, efficiency, productivity, or improve corporate competitiveness.Support - My job is to provide support for all the corporate business systems. I work with users to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions.

The entire time that I was an employee of TCC, I worked at Weber Marking Systems. I initially came on to assist Weber in a Mainframe to Oracle ERP (10.7) transition. During this transition my role was to implement numerous customization and enhancements to the Order Management, Finance, and Shipping. I created a custom blanket release process. I developed a customized pricing mechanism called series pricing. Created or enhanced multiple forms and reports.Once the Oracle implementation was complete and all the production problems had been stabilized, my job was to provide support on all the Oracle systems, help IT staff with technical issues, address user issues, and continue to implement enhancements that didn’t make the go-live date.During this period we also performed a 10.7 to 11i upgrade of the Oracle ERP system. My role was to upgrade customizations, implement functional setups in areas that had significant changes (such as Order Management, Advanced Pricing, and Shipping), and help the users thoroughly test business processes in the new ERP environment.

I was initially hired to enhance and develop a field service system written in Smalltalk. But beyond this, I became heavily involved in a project to move off of the company mainframe system and onto Oracle 10.7. I worked with a consulting group to perform requirement analysis and setups in the different business areas. My focus was on Order Management and Inventory Management. I also programmed a key interface (in C++) between Oracle ERP and a proprietary inventory management software package.Once the Oracle implementation was live, my job was to support the user community and help with enhancements and data reporting.

Responsibilities:1. Modeling a major computer telephony application using object-oriented analysis and design. Knowledge of a number of object-oriented methodologies.2. Programming in Smalltalk, using Digitalk Visual Smalltalk with some experience using IBM Visual Age. A very good knowledge of the Smalltalk syntax.3. Software prototyping for management and customer critique.4. Testing at all levels in the application development process to determine the functionality and stability of the system.5. GUI Development for both the OS/2 and Windows Environment. A very good understanding of OS/2's Presentation Manager (PM).

Responsibilities:1. Service and install teleconferencing systems on customer premises.2. Service, test, and install T1's and T1 channel units.3. Provide technical phone support.4. Test and service speakerphone equipment manufactured by the company.
