Portfolio Manager for Southwest Airlines Network Operations Center (NOC). I lead a team of 10 Project Managers and Business Consultants responsible for the Stategic objective of modernization of SWAs NOC.

Overall responsible agent for launches and development of the Amazon 3P transloading and Import Processing Center (IPC) network from 2020 to present. To date I have launched nine new facilities across the US and Canada including Oakland, Seattle, Savannah, Charleston Newark, Houston and Vancouver adding 4,900 ocean containers (FEU) processing capacity per week or 255k of annual capacity.Additional responsibilities include recommending network development initiatives over the next 3-5 years including site/network expansion, development of best practices and selection of best in class technology.Highlights• Led two launch cycles though the stages of network design, requests for proposal and quotation (RFP/RFQ) resulting in four new LSPs being onboarded and eight new sites being added to the network.• Successfully managed the follow work streams pre, during and post launch. Network design/topology; vendor and facility screening, safety screening, financial sign off, tech screening, tech and EDI integration, vendor onboarding and launch.

Working in Amazon Air's Network Control Center I managed a team of 6-10 Air Ops Controllers to manage a fleet of 95 aircraft operating between 42 airports in North America and the European Union. In addition to managing day to day air operations I also took responsibility for large scale contingency planning for events such as hurricane season, disaster relief missions, Unit Loading Device (ULD) management as well as developing the next set of leaders from my team of controllers.

Responsible for managing day to day air operations in North America and the EU working directly with six airline partners to deliver customer facing packages in the second day, next day and same day delivery segments.

During my first year at Amazon I was responsible for the Transportation Operationss team at DTW5 managing and developing a team of Logistics Specialists and Tier 1 Associates to deliver an average 150k packages per night into over 300 USPS officers in Michigan and Northern Ohio and Indiana.

On initially taking the role I was tasked with working with the COO to move PCF Souvenirs into a new DC this included full integration of staff transferred from MY Sale Group PLC (my previous employer) into PCF Souvenirs and working on a system implementation to take PCF from a paper based inventory system to a full electronic ERP system.Overall responsible agent for DC management including both pick and pack operations as well as light manufacturing such as printing and product customizations. Key aspects included ensuring maximum productivity and constantly driving quality and accuracy improvements.Analysis of freight shipping lanes including, optimizing lanes for both LTL carriers as well as small package networks such as UPS, FedEx and local couriers (ASAP). Chief factors included reducing costs, improving delivery time and holding carriers to account for damages and other operational problems.Analysis of future DC sites and options including both wholly owned and 3PL options to reduce transport costs and transit times, ultimately complete analysis of the situation allowed me to reduce customer lead times between 25-50% by changing internal processes without the costs associated with opening any new DCs.Reduction of labor spend by 3% of net sales revenue down to 5.6% from 8.6% in a 5 month period through process analysis and implementation. Significant improvement inventory availability bringing fulfillment rates up from 85% to 98% through a process of reorganization of inventory and regular cycle counts.
