USN MNHR TRANSFORMATION, OPNAV N1, 04/2021 – 04/2023• Supporting the MyNavy HR (MNHR) Transformation program, I led the Learning Stack pillar’s transformation of legacy training and education systems into a modernized system of systems. The Learning Stack pillar was one of five MNHR transactional pillars; I was responsible for ensuring the capabilities within the Learning Stack pillar were properly and effectively integrated with all other pillars. I coordinated among all stakeholder groups (Government, subcontractors and internal teams), including functional system owners and technical engineers, to ensure implementation of the most effective strategies by this ~100+ FTE program for our government client. This guaranteed that future state systems were built to industry best practices leveraging designated COTS products. • Coordinated and facilitated senior executive level (DoD 0-6, GS-15 and above) strategic planning sessions to develop a rolling 3-5 year execution schedule for development and implementation of transformed capabilities.• Led the entire project’s Solutions team, which included a ~40 FTE team responsible for the transformation of all five transactional pillars. I directed all pillar teams in the production of client deliverables, coordinating with the numerous stakeholder groups, and provided direction and leadership to ensure successful delivery and implementation to meet our client’s vision and mission. Leading the Solutions team’s daily SCRUMs, I effectively coordinated across all work streams within this ~100+ FTE program.

USMC SPARTA, Program & Resources (P&R) Risk and Compliance Branch (RFK), 08/2019 – 04/2021 • Led the team responsible for developing the Marine Corps' audit response tool, as part of USMC P&R’s RFK, SharePoint Audit Response Tracking Application (SPARTA). This customized SharePoint tool enabled the Marine Corps to quickly and effectively respond to the Independent Public Accountant’s requests throughout the year-long, annual audit process. Our team gathered requirements from client stakeholders and leaders during recurring 4-week “sprints” to enhance business processes and improve effective user experiences using the tool. Our team supported troubleshooting user issues and help desk management of the RFK internal SharePoint site.

Knowledge Manager, USMC P&R, 02/2019 – 08/2019• Pioneered the Knowledge Management (KM) program for the USMC P&R enterprise. Assessing the maturity level of the KM program, I was responsible for building the KM Community of Interest to engage internal and external stakeholders to mature the KM program for the enterprise, write and ratify a KM Charter, and engage with internal stakeholders to identify KM based pain points to develop a streamlined knowledge sharing environment. As a technical SME I was responsible for developing a collaborative environment, utilizing the organizations existing SharePoint site, to flatten their business processes and increase inter-branch communications and information sharing.

SharePoint and Drupal Front-End Developer, Marine Corps University, 10/2013 – 02/2019• Administered the end-to-end needs for SharePoint users within Marine Corps University (MCU) as part of the web solutions team. Duties included user permissions management, site creation and modification, custom workflow development, and information management. The MCU SharePoint site provides a collaborative environment for the MCU Staff and Faculty as well as providing a PKI protected site for students to access Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) documents and briefs associated with their class loads while at MCU. • Additionally, MCU adopted a Drupal environment to host the public facing website for which I provided user account creation and access rights, power user training, site and page creation, and created, updated, and enhanced the User Interface (UI) through CSS and JavaScript. Created customized branding for the MCU public site as part of the migration, implementation, and launch of the new MCU site, shifting from SharePoint to Drupal.

Knowledge Manager, DTRA CTR, 04/2012 – 10/2013• Supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) and in direct support of the Constant Threat Reduction (CTR) directorate I worked on a massive Knowledge Management (KM) project to reorganize the 200 million+ documents CTR used to facilitate their jobs. Utilizing a SharePoint 2010 environment, our team coached and trained the CTR staff on understanding the benefits of the SharePoint flat file structure and the advantages of metadata tagging of the documents within the SharePoint environment. This included a hands-on approach to developing an effective taxonomy with the CTR staff and rebuilding sites and libraries.

SharePoint Developer, USMC MCJROTC, 07/2010 – 04/2012• Automated the USMC JROTC purchase request process, reducing the overall work hours required to complete individual purchase requests. Prior to re-engineering of the business processes, the client staff was regularly requiring overtime hours to overcome the cumbersome nature of the manual process. The provided solution utilized the existing JROTC SharePoint 2007 environment and custom workflows to allow the individual instructors to create a purchase request and be notified of the status at each step in the process until the request was finalized. Developed a customized dashboard for each of the units, as well as the logistics and finance sections, to provide visibility and traceability of each request. The automated processes and online dashboard significantly reduced the logistics staff’s workload, effectively removing the need for overtime hours.
