I am at my core an engineer, passionate about all things machine tool related. My main drive is mechanical applications, I am never more engrossed in my work than when I am getting stuck in to a new project, or working to streamline an existing one.I specialise in CNC machining applications / programming. I am proficient with multiple leading CAD / CAM packages and can program both Fanuc and Seimens controls at an advanced level.Throughout my time in the industry I have worked hard to climb my way up from apprentice machinist, to CNC programmer, to Production line supervisor, and finally in recent years to Applications and Estimating Manager.Whilst being a production line supervisor I was responsible for the machining of our companies largest contract. I learnt a great deal about man management, how to contend with multiple obstacles simultaneously, and the urgency of meeting customer demands.My current job role brings me much satisfaction, presenting me with fresh challenges and opportunities for development regularly.
