Started job as a scaffolder Providing access and safety measures along the motorway, working alongside civil workers upgrading motorway to smart motorway, erecting/dismantling and modify as needed . Working my way up to been a working supervisor looking after scaffold requests , ordering materials ,weekly meetings with client to discuss needs and also putting men to work .

Working across many locations as a basic scaffolder, i have worked on many projects in this short time starting with west burton/ cottam coal fired power stations on a regular yearly outage, Fawley Oil Refinery Pre rigging and throughout the biggest outage they have had also pre rigging and providing access to the inside of boilers on small veolia energy to waste power stations and finally assisting in general maintenance on a british sugar factory in bury st edmonds . Whilst doing everything possible to complete each requirement of client we worked 100% safely following all site rules , working to sg4:10 , using correct manual handling and lifting procedures and also barriering off work area whilst working at heights to protect other workers from danger . Trained with abrasive wheels for cutting of tubes whilst modifying scaffold alongside thermal engineers so they could do there jobs . Erect and alter engineered approved scaffolds over 50 meters free standing. all variation of scaffolds including hung, canter levered, spurred, racked, heavy duty loading platforms tube and fitting and system scaffolding.
