Ben co-founded Zippy to expand access to affordable homeownership through manufactured home loans. In 2017, Ben and his Co-Founder, Jordan Bucy, began their Manufactured Housing journey by acquiring a manufactured home community. What started as an investment quickly turned into a passion. As Ben & Jordan revitalized the community, they loved handing keys to new residents. The modern manufactured homes they sold were well built, enviable in design, and truly affordable. Through investment, labor & growth, the community became an awesome place to call home. What they didn't love however was how hard it was for their new residents to find affordable and competitive loans. As many community owners know, the lack of options often forced residents into renting rather than homeownership. Following years of financial services experience across lending and venture capital, Ben & Jordan knew there should and could be a solution. In 2021, Zippy was born.
