Appointee of the Supreme Court of Georgia

- Sell Georgia’s workforce to would-be Georgia employers- Assist Georgia companies in navigating Georgia’s workforce development system- Support communities in developing and selling their local talent

- Appointed by Governor Nathan Deal (January, 2014)- Lead the Workforce Division of the Georgia Department of Economic Development- Serve as Georgia's Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Administrator- Serve as Executive Director of the State Workforce Development Board

- Oversaw approximately 60 state agencies and authorities with a particular focus on problem solving and coordinating inter-agency initiatives- Worked closely with state agency heads and their executive teams to ensure they were executing on the Administration’s goals and directives, and to ensure the Governor and senior leadership were kept abreast of key issues across state government

- Worked closely with Governor Nathan Deal and relevant experts to prepare his public remarks for all speeches, press conferences and economic development announcements, to include the annual State of the State address - Occasionally prepared remarks for executive staff members (e.g., Chief of Staff, Chief Operating Officer) - Involved in all aspects of Press Office work including messaging, event staging, press releases and opinion editorials

- Served as Governor Sonny Perdue’s Speechwriter
