17 year career mechanic turned entrepreneur. After all those years scraping by I found myself never calling anyone to do anything around my house or on any equipment I was in front of, so I started my own business building Hammond Services. Now I am work for myself and fix my customers problems by "making their honey do list DONE". I spent 4 years in the Army as track vehicle mechanic and served a year long deployment in Iraq. I am a husband to an amazing wife, and a father to 4 beautiful daughters. I have served in many churches as a high school boys leader and it is one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. So after spending so much time leading I came up with my own leadership plan and launched my own non-profit called The Single Speed Project. It combines my love for mountain biking and leading young men to a better understanding of what it means to be men. I am very active in our local SORBA (southern off road bicycle association) chapter in Woodstock Ga. where I help build and maintain the trail systems on my local level. I am also a Georgia certified trail crew leader so that I am capable of leading crews out on the trails to help on work party days. We also partner with a charitable organization called Pedal Against PTSD to help and give bikes away to veterans that struggle with the transition after their time in the military.
