I am currently an Environmental Science student at Plymouth University, in my placement year working as an Engineering Geologist at Geotechnical Engineering Ltd. This opportunity allows me to gain invaluable hands-on experience in the field. My academic and practical experiences have deepened my passion for exploring and understanding both marine and terrestrial environments.During my time at university, I have developed strong skills in communication, research, problem-solving, and project management through a series of challenging assignments and projects. These skills have been crucial in my current role, where I contribute to various geotechnical projects and collaborate with a team of experienced professionals.I am particularly passionate about environmental science and its application in geotechnical engineering. Understanding the impact of geological processes on both marine and terrestrial environments is essential for promoting sustainability and mitigating environmental risks. I am committed to leveraging my knowledge and skills to contribute to environmentally responsible engineering solutions.Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, I am a qualified rescue diver, reflecting my enthusiasm for marine environments. I also enjoy hiking and camping and cycling, which allows me to engage with terrestrial landscapes on a personal level.
