This role predominately involved building strong relationships through exceptional customer service to Private Banking customers; earning their confidence and trust to become the first point of contact to discuss and manage their financial situation. I held frequent meetings with clients offering assistance with investments, loans, credit cards, insurance and current accounts. My core responsibilities included:• Build strong and natural relationships with new and existing clients.• Manage and grow a £10 million portfolio • Hold regular face to face meetings• Gain essential stakeholder contacts to build new business• Offer assistance and solutions to clients in financial difficulty

Assisting the Private Banking Manager with their portfolio of customers. Encouraging the client to arrange a time to meet with the Private Banking Manager to have a review of their finances to maximise the efficiency of investments or lending products. Providing outstanding service and being relied upon to organise and complete tasks in order to help the customer with whatever needs they may have. My core responsibilities included:• Providing an unrivalled Private Banking service.• Dealing with client requests from start to finish.• Assisting the Private Banking Manager with general admin.• Booking appointments for clients to meet the Private Banking Manager.• Analysing daily financial reports for the smooth running of bank accounts.

The role was telephony based, dealing with both new and existing customers, promoting and selling RBS products and services, whilst continually providing a high level of customer service to meet the requirements of the RBS Helpful Banking Charter.A very high standard of communication was required to be successful in the targeted sales environment.
