M2M Logic is custom solutions provider specialising in embedded control and telemetry products and systems. Key focus has been the development of a new embedded platform with far more input/output options than is currently available from competitors for an initial application in fleet/mobile asset management. Coupled with a new web-based management system this is a complete, end-to-end fleet management solution.• Ground up design and development of web-based fleet management system, including;o Server-side database application stack (Apache, MySQL, Perl, PHP, Java)o Rich web interface (HTML & CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, XML , JSON), including use of external APIs: Google maps API v3 jQuery & jQueryUI jqGrid jqPlotso TCP/UDP communications server for on-board vehicle telemetry equipment• Development of desktop application configuration utility for on-board vehicle telemetry unit, via USB communications

My primary role was the maintenance and continued development of the company's propriety fuel management software system. Other activities included project work - on-site (typically mine sites) fuel management system audits, systems installation, commissioning and training (of both software and field devices), support (on-site and remote) and software upgrades; sales and marketing support including - the generation of marketing materials, tender submissions, development and delivery of presentations; liaising with 3rd party providers to integrate various systems (hardware and software); development of internal processes and procedures (eg. source control, software development processes and coding standards, release and upgrade procedures, etc). I was also heavily involved in the recruitment process for the R&D and project commissioning teams, including providing internal training.
