Monitored the daily progress of well operations. 4). Kept track of current daily costs, comparing actual costs with expenditure proposals and recommending cost-effective changes. 5). Defined operational requirements to meet Nexen safety and operational standards focused on PSM.6). Engineered the secondary abandonment of wells with surface casing vents flows. This included working with vendors, excavating and bringing the wellbore to surface, designing a drill string for the drilling of cement and the execution of Bradenhead, Suicide squeeze cement jobs.7). Assisted engineering the zonal abandonment of an HPHT well in excess of 70 MPa. Operations included removal of hydrates with coiled tubing and snubbing tubing into high pressures.8). Ensured any changes, modifications, or upgrades to the completion programs follow the Management of Change (MOC) process, and then lead the implementation of the change.9). Delivered project cost estimates and negotiated vendor contracts.
