I worked for Humberside Police for a 15 month period. I worked within response policing and community policing.My time in response meant I was often the first to incidents and would have to make quick decisions based on all the information I had received. I was also trained to investigate crimes in depth to obtain the correct outcome for the victim and the investigation. I was also trained to interview suspects, witnesses and victims to obtain as much detail as possible. I also spent time in community policing where I was dealing with longer term issues and engaging with the community to understand their needs and demands for their area. I dealt with high volumes of investigations within this period whilst supporting those with vulnerabilities within the community. I have been in situations where my communication skills has helped victims feel supported and calmed situations down.

Since the summer of 2015 until summer 2020 I worked in Clarks fitting children shoes, which was a great experience and has meant I now have experience working in retail and customer service.

Over the 2019 Christmas period I worked in the perfume shop from the start of November to the end of December. This experience enabled me to further develop my customer service skills within a new environment and different team.
