• Analyzed international fuel price, optimized monthly passenger/cargo fuel surcharge to scheduled airlines operating in Hong Kong and compiled statistical data received from Hong Kong International Airport for validation and subsequent issuance of finalized report to the general public• Coordinated the negotiation and signing of relevant air services agreements between Hong Kong and other countries - resolved traffic rights related issues and ensured a level playing field pertaining to the aviation industry• Represented HKSAR Government in Air Services Agreement discussions with foreign diplomats - provided insights relating to airline revenue planning and the entitlements allocated to the designated airlines of the states concerned• Monitored application process of different flight types (scheduled flights, non-scheduled flights, private non-revenue flights, additional flights, medical flights), analysed relevant data & reports, prepared flight schedule change, and operating permits in accordance with the air services agreements signed• Maintained intercommunication amongst Civil Aviation Department and aviation counterparts such as airlines, Hong Kong Tourism Board, Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong, handling agencies etc. to negotiate and resolve matters relating to air services• Responsible for Civil Aviation Department’s training and development affairs involving in-depth evaluation of relevant CAD training manuals and reports and tendering documents
