CurrentManaging the application development team that supports the entire London asset management business for all parts of the business including Front Office, Risk Management, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Compliance and Operations teams. The team also supports the Dublin office and has an integral role supporting some of the other smaller European sales offices. The role requires planning, development and project management of both large-scale IT projects and tactical solutions, and managing many concurrent requests is paramount. The team builds desktop applications, database and web based systems and supports London's data needs. Part of the team's responsibilities are to develop robust ETL solutions that deliver business critical data feeds to the business. This also includes working with the infrastructure team to ensure architecture design is best practice and that hardware choices are cutting edge.The role also includes technical oversight and relationship management of third party / vendor products and provides daily interaction with C level management. I strive to contribute to advancements in Lazard's technology capabilities working closely with my technology colleagues in New York to ensure synergy with the global IT strategy and to help ensure newly developed in-house or third party systems are rolled out effectively and integrated seamlessly with existing systems.
