  Reporting to the Payroll Manager I am responsible for;• Full processing of the Weekly payroll which can vary from 200 to 800 casual employees. I also process 6 monthly payrolls, ranging from 5 to 1,000 employees which includes casual, temporary and permanent employees. • Processing of the payrolls includes: receiving the timesheets and uploading into Core HR, setting up casual new starters and processing leavers, calculating holiday pay requested or for leavers, manual checks of any sickness or statutory payments entered by my colleague, manual checks for any salary changes for permanent employees, updating the payroll summaries and reconciliations, saving all the reports and entering comments.• Using ADP Streamline I process the payrolls for 12 different countries which covers 22 employees. 8 countries paid in Euro’s and the other 4 are paid in their own currencies.• Processing HMRC submissions and relevant changes.• I have a finance side to my role, at month end I create and post the General Ledgers for the payrolls. I post any payments made by payroll in the month into the system. I am also responsible for reconciling 11 balance sheet accounts and investigate any variances and post the corrections.Achievements• We experienced a cyber-attack in November 2020. This was a busy, challenging and pressurised period but we got through it as a team. The Chief Finance Officer organized a conference call with our team to express his and the Boards gratitude for our hard work ensuring everyone was paid on time. • When we were moving to Core in January 2019, I assisted with data migration and helped with the parallel running for 2 months prior.• I have trained 7 different temporary staff during my time working at United.• Helped improve the payroll processes such as: Simplifying and updating timesheets. Adding numerous checks into the timesheet and payroll processes. Updating the payroll reconciliations with Vlookups and Pivot table to make checking easier.
