JSP604 Rule 11 (Cybersecurity) Assessor/Rule Owner.Cyber Security/IA SME responsible for ensuring that systems aiming to connect and interact with the MOD Digital Enterprise meet the required levels of security to enable effective network defence. Areas of SQEP include system architecture, asset management, vulnerability management, CDS, endpoint tooling, SOC monitoring, threat assessment and cyber risk management.MOD Cyber lead at a Programme level for 100+ Projects transitioning through Change, Release & Deployment activities.Established an in-house MOD Cyber Ops Risk Management system, directly enabling senior commanders (Board level) to make risk based decisions on Cyber Risk affecting the MOD Enterprise.Ensured that suitable Cyber controls were in place for a MOD-wide capability, enabling continued rollout of the system and saving MOD c.£1M.Project managed several complex activities resulting in the remediation of Cyber vulnerabilities impacting MOD systems across TLBs and domains.

Led a team responsible for the maintenance and repair of UK CIS across a deployed airbase.SCIDA.

Delivered assured end to end network connectivity to deployed users worldwide in line with ITIL best practice.Planned both terrestrial and satellite assets to meet user requirements. Led multiple stakeholders to connect global voice and data systems for a variety of users, ensuring adherence to MOD standards for code of connection and security accreditation.Liaised with industry partners, other MOD depts. and end users to coordinate and optimise bandwidth usage and network resilience for ongoing Land/Air operations, ensuring that they they remained cost effective whilst providing the required service levels.Managed and coordinated all changes to CIS equipment and services deployed on Enduring Ops worldwide.Led the design and implementation of changes to airtime ordering processes, increasing efficiency and data sharing across MOD and between industry partners; this directly contributed to the successful planning and deployment of multiple CIS force elements on Ex SAIF SAREEA 3 and various overseas Operations.

90 Signals Unit, Raf Leeming

Led the build, configuration and testing of various deployable military IT systems and bearers, up to and including above secret classification levels.Configured, installed and maintained voice and data network infrastructure, IP crypto and SATCOM systems worldwide.Experienced in Cisco and Juniper network device configuration. Familiar with VMWare, antivirus and network monitoring systems.

Joint Service Signals Unit, Cyprus

Responsible for the delivery of a complex HF radio transmission capability and all ancillary systems to Defence. Carried out complex maintenance and fault rectification to 3rd line level. HVAC experience. Additional responsibilities included managing a shift pattern and all supporting engineering documentation in line with RAF regulations.

Raf Lyneham, Wiltshire

Responsible for the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of a number of bespoke defence IT systems as well as the DII network at a high tempo, operationally focused RAF flying station. Worked on faults from 1st through to 3rd line levels. Personally managed the migration of over a thousand users to the ATLAS DII/F network. Experience of working in a customer facing role as well as a variety of specialist teams.
