I ensured that community members and small businesses had the tools to succeed financially and manage their banking relationships.

I was the Regional Malaria Coordinator for the Southern regions of Tanzania. I coordinated malaria education programs for Peace Corps Tanzania and facilitated training for other Peace Corps Volunteers and their Tanzanian counterparts. I also coordinated malaria programs in my school and surrounding villages, as well as with other volunteers in the the southern regions.

I taught secondary level math at Nitekela Secondary School in the Mtwara region of southern Tanzania. While there I taught all four levels of Ordinary Level math, as well as served as the chair of the school's Mathematics Department.

Scare Away Hunger is a local small non-profit committed to raising money and food to benefit the Food Bank of El Dorado. We do this by planning and putting on an annual haunted house fundraising event, with all monetary and food donations 100% benefiting the food bank. In order to achieve our goals of providing support for the needy, we have a core team of dedicated young adults who recruit and train groups of local youth volunteers to help run the haunted house. Scare Away Hunger has earned several awards throughout the years, including Volunteer of the Year 2011 from the Food Bank of El Dorado, as well as a Certificate of Congressional Recognition by United States Representation Tom McClintock of California.At Scare Away Hunger, I had many responsibilities. I created the yearly budgets, assisted with fundraising and community outreach, ran the social media accounts, recruited volunteers, mentored/trained the volunteers, as well as day to day activities.

I served as a Secondary Education Volunteer before being evacuated due to the Ebola epidemic. While there I worked with Sierra Leone nationals and underwent extensive training in teaching, global health, cross-cultural skills, and the Krio language.

I created a comprehensive budgetary tool to analyze the expenditures for meal programs within California's prison system.
