Ben is a Co-founder of Fully Financial, a Fee-only financial planning firm based in Athens, GA. He serves as the firm's lead financial planner and offers comprehensive financial planning and investment management services. He started the firm with his partner after spending over 8 years at another fee-only financial planning firm in Athens. Ben is passionate about teaching and is a part-time instructor in UGA's Financial Planning program. He has taught courses such as Capstone in Financial Planning, Applied Financial Planning (Tax), and Computer Applications in Financial Planning.Ben completed his Master's degree in Financial Planning from the University of Georgia in 2016. He also graduated from UGA with a Bachelor's degree in Consumer Economics (Summa Cum Laude with Highest Honors). He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM Professional, an Enrolled Agent licensed to practice before the IRS, and is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary. He has a Professional Certificate in Personal and Organization Leadership from UGA's Institute from Leadership Advancement through the Terry College of Business. He also has completed the DEI Training and Certificate Program through the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA).Ben currently serves on the national board of directors for NAPFA. He has volunteered with NAPFA for 7 years now in various roles and is the youngest board member to ever sit on the board. He is also a board member for Books for Keeps, a local Athens non-profit who's mission is to connect the joy of reading with the thrill of discovery through co-authored experiences that children can forever associate with learning. He is a past president of the UGA Family and Consumer Sciences Alumni Association.
