At Zippin I Manage a mixed team of Mechanical, Embedded Firmware, and Technician skillsets to move products from concept to launch. Products relied heavily on mechanical designs to position transducers in a reliable way to ensure analog digital conversion was accurate, reliable, and repeatable. This role focused heavily on installability of products, as well as issue resolution and roots cause anlysis. Additionally, we worked closely with 3rd party designers and manufacturers to communicate requirements and ensure designs met our quality standards before shipping to customers.

I've supported and lead the electrical development of multiple small scale drones. My primary workload consists of electrical wiring definition, PCB design, and flight test. Working on small teams has allowed me to be exposed to a large variety of tasks outside of typical electrical work.

Electrical Engineer working within aircraft simulation to integrate real world avionics into a simulated aircraft platform.As a Hardware Engineer my primary role is to integrate aircraft avionics into flight simulators per contract requirements. Often times this requires me to incorporate new and existing avionics packages in parallel while maintaining simplicity for the end user. In my role I have done labor and materials bids for government proposals, large amounts of domestic and international travel, and worked closely with both our customers and subcontractors. Through my time in this position I've been able to work on full motion simulators, fixed base simulators, composite maintenance trainers, and fuselage trainers for helicopters and tilt-rotor aircraft. My background at Bell includes satisfying documentation requirements per contracts (CDRLs), testing and debugging of software loads in a Linux environment, and running qualification test guides (QTGs) with the customer. Knowledge of how the software operates on the simulators has helped me immensely in diagnosing both hardware and software issues.
