Test Engineer for Chrome Browser on mobile devices. Working on test automation infrastructure

I was the sole quality assurance person on the HP Live Photo iOS mobile App. Working in an agile environment, I designed and executed all tests, as well as logging and verify fixes to discovered problems. Due to time limits, and budget constraints, I was able (or obliged) to do this all on my own without a tech, or offshore testing, resulting in significant cost savings and headcount.

I design test cases to firmware update and low level memory writes. I write computer code to automate various aspects of testing such as tabulation of results, creation of update files, and running test scripts. I also diagnose errors discovered in code.I was given a patent award for inventing hardware to automate the power cycling of the printer, resulting in large savings.

Wrote computer program in java for Bio-science department to import, analyze, and organize information on DNA. It then uploaded the results into a MySQL database. Optimized program to run on computer cluster.
