While in school I took on freelance web design and development clients. This included working in a one on one environment with the client to create a custom experience based on their goals and specific needs. Starting with sketches, layouts and mock ups, we turned ideas in to custom branded functional web sites. Most sites were built in plain HTML, CSS, and Javascript, or based on frameworks like Wordpres and Squarespace to add the functionality of a shopping cart and a client faced CMS.
