Worked during the summers at Centennial Elementary School as a substitute paraeducator. I worked as a flex position, and filled many roles. During summer 2023, I acted as a one on one helper with a special needs student, and helped the head teacher with governing the classroom and other miscellaneous tasks. During the summer of 2024 I held many roles changing daily, such as classroom aide, lunch/recess monitor, and anywhere else help was needed. I had to act as a role model for the kids and follow my daily schedule for the role I needed to fill.

I was elected as the recruitment chairmen for Gamma Xi chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha at Washington State University for the 2023 Spring and Fall semester. I succeeded at this role because I am very friendly and personably, which helped me meet new people and form good relationships. I organized informal rush events that took place throughout the year and over the summer. I also had to schedule our rush week activities. This involved making presentations to give to members to relay my expectations on how to act during rush. I had to constantly make sure my events followed all the International Fraternity Council rules, and that all of my chapters membership was on board. I had access to a card to make purchases for food and other amenities.

I was hired at The Valley Athletic Club in Tumwater, Washington in Oct. 2019 as floor staff and continued working through the pandemic until August 2021. During this time, I learned to follow proper procedures, as well as adapt to new ones created by COVID-19, while completing my list of tasks. Most of the time, I was doing laundry and cleaning locker rooms and equipment. I was also cross trained to work at the front desk. There, I greeted customers, answered questions, made appointments and handled money. As one of the few male floor staff employees that continued working throughout the pandemic, it was also my duty to train incoming employees.
