My previous role at Stanley Black & Decker included the same range of work as mentioned above, albeit with the following responsibilities:* Managing the IP portfolio of accessory tools.* Working on the IP portfolio of power tools, hand tools and industrial tools. * Mentoring a trainee European Patent Attorney and a trainee Patent Administrator.

Eurostar is the cross-channel high speed train operator between London and North Western Europe. I managed engineering supply contracts for Eurostar's train maintenance depot. I specialised in cooperating with Eurostar's operating partners, the French and Belgian railways, on engineering maintenance cost-sharing matters.

I worked at Eurostar's train maintenance depot. I undertook fault diagnostic work and maintenance team supervisory work. I was the technical instructor for the ‘black box’ data recorder.

British Rail was the national train operator until privatisation in the mid-1990s. Eurostar (UK) was a component of British Rail. I worked in various train maintenance depots and the Railway Technical Centre to acquire a broad experience railway maintenance, commissioning and design.

Dresser manufactures industrial pumps. I obtained a European Union grant for a nine-month work-placement in the Engineering Sales & Marketing department to start my engineering career and to learn French. A one-year full-time position in the Spare Parts department followed where I coordinated the resale of spare parts in France and North Africa.
