Managed all sealing products sold into industrial applications for a Houston, TX-based manufacturer. Responsibilities included continuous improvement, Cap-ex evaluation, technical training and employee development for all sales staff, oversight of new product development activities, and growth of OEM sales channels. Key accomplishments:• Successfully launched a new sealing product line from concept to first sale. • Merged machine shop needs with ROI demands to acquire necessary capital equipment.• Secured several new OEM sales contracts poised to double the yearly sales of isolation product line.• Designed optimized factory layout with newly purchased equipment for product launch.

Manufacturing Engineer intern within the Operations Department of GE Lighting. Responsible for the monitoring and calculation of more than 10 machines and 30 machine operator efficiencies. Assisted in the introduction and supervision of a new manufacturing process for a new product line. Key accomplishments:• Six Sigma Green Belt project more than doubled production numbers of that line.• New product line started production on time with all equipment fully installed.• Recognized as a high potential leader in regards to innovation and leadership capabilities.

Project Engineer intern within the Automated Press Control Group. Completed a wide range of PLC associated activities including hardware design using AutoCAD, programming, and on-site installation and debugging of Allen-Bradley control systems. Key accomplishments:• Traveled to Silao, Mexico to assist in installation/debugging of a General Motors press automation line.• Designed ladder logic program for General Motors double blank detector on a stamping line.
