I was in charge of the Children's Ministry. I taught our Children's Church and weekly Bible Study. I also planned and lead a Vacation Bible School. My big project was planning and supervising a charity golf tournament. This included negotiating the tournament contract with the venue, gathering sponsors, and supervising the event itself. I was able to have the tournament be successful in its first year. Expanded children's ministry to a full Family Ministry.

I drove guests and staff up and down windy dirt roads. At the same time, I was responsible for providing legendary customer service that the Broadmoor is known for. I anticipated needs, I made a new standard for our drivers. I would take drink orders when we left the base camp so when we arrived at their destination they could be greeted with a drink. I learned about the history of the properties and the area, helping guests learn interesting things about the area.

As a Host, I was placed in charge of the flow of the restaurant. I had to have an idea of what was happening in each of the 200 tables at all times. I was given the responsibility of making the floor plans and positioning servers. I was also the customer service face of the restaurant. I greeted everyone that came in and handled the phones. I was also the person that would handle guest issues. As a barista, I had to work quickly under pressure. I was often by myself with long lines, this forced me to handle both taking orders and making them. I was able to take the presure and thrive on it.

My primary responsibility was selling the Club to prospective members. I used tools to build a prospective database. We cold called people that recently moved into the neighborhood. I also served as a customer service representative to current members. I loved helping solve problems and addressing concerns. I saw each concern as an opportunity. I was also tasked with supervising and managing people. On weekends, I was often the manager on duty, taking care of problems that staff would have. This often involved thinking critically and creatively, finding ways to solve the issue. I also was the concierge for golf tournaments and events. Serving as the point of contact during the event for the client.
