Hi! My name is Ben. I am an enthusiastic, ambitious German and English teacher.Due to my passion for travelling, I have often experienced the advantage of speaking multiple modern foreign languages. My English language skills served to connect with people from other cultures during my trip through Australia and my time as an au pair in New Zealand. Additionally, I fluently speak German (mother tongue) and Dutch.My personal experiences led me to become a German and English teacher and share my knowledge with young adolescents. I currently work at the Goois Lyceum in Bussum (general secondary education) where I teach students of diverse levels and interests with great enthusiasm. This way I can guide and educate the upcoming generations to become open-minded citizens who are well-prepared to face the world. Another attribute of mine is to be creative. Before becoming a teacher I successfully completed a technical design training in which I learned to work with varied materials in several ways. This creativity is reflected in my profession as well as my personal interests. In my free time, I enjoy interior design, refurbishing furniture, sewing clothes, and drawing.
