Non-urgent contact center that still deals with emergency calls when they come through. High speed and intensity work. Police report building and quality assurance, job requests for officers on the ground. I have also developed in a number of areas such as social media monitoring, first aid and mentoring new staff through a 10 week, high intensity learning program.

The job was a way to get through the COVID job shortage. The job was a 24/7, text based job where I would receive a text from the manager to be at a particular port (grain, multi-purpose, cement, gas, coal) to either meet a ship and tie it to the port or untie it and let it go. I quickly moved to the position of Mooring Master which required me to communicate with the ship's captain, pilot, lines-boat skipper and tugboat captains to plan how to safely bring the ship in to port or release it. This communication was constant and continuously evolving during the exercise. During this high intensity communication, I would also have to communicate and organize my team (ranging from 4-10 linesmen) to engage with the ships' crew to secure or release the lines to the port. This role came with challenges such as maritime safety, proper maritime radio communications, language barriers depending on where the ship was from as well as the safety relating to weather conditions and any dangerous cargo.

Testing laboratory software using a variety of techniques in a 2 stage testing format. Smoke testing to ensure the specific function of the new software and then exploratory testing to ensure all existing areas that interact with the new software are still working as intended. Bug report writing and closely working with stakeholders onsite, interstate and internationally.

I started in the preparation section for the soils department and had to work using many different sample processing methods, precise weighing and delivery of samples to their respective areas within tight deadlines. I was made to be self-sufficient and developed good time management skills as a result. Due to my high level of performance, I was then given a section that tested Particle Size and Distribution while still overseeing the preparation section. I had 3 laboratory technicians under me and my role responsibilities included liaising with managers, organizing sample taking, deadlines, express orders, sample preparation, data entry and producing reports to the chemists to be compiled and provided to the client.

Delivery driver that also specialized in delivery driver training across 3 stores. I assisted my franchisee with growing his operations from 1 store to 4 stores. I also was trained as a daytime shift supervisor.
