The valve sizing also includes the selection of actuators to provide adequate thrust to meet ANSI shutoff classes and any customer imposed speed requirements, as well as, material selections based on fluid compatibility and technical specifications. • Processing projects under CSA N285 General Requirements for Pressure Retaining Systems & Components in CANDU Nuclear Power Plants.• Develop detailed proposals identifying material and labour costs, scheduling tasks and allocating resources, and assessing the impact of delays and liquidated damages.• Responsible for all customer technical, commercial and quality assurance inquiries.• Implementation of CSA Z299.3/Z299.2 and ISO 9001-2008 quality assurance programs, which include and are not limited to, contract review, order write-up, inspection and test plan generation, witnessing of testing, review of test results for customer submissions, drawing reviews and approvals.• Working understanding of ASME B31.3 Process Piping Design, ASME B31.1 Power Piping - Design and Fabrication, CSA B51 Boiler, Pressure Vessel and Pressure Piping Code, NQA-1 and ASME Section II/III/V/IX.
