- Work within the certification team who focus on ensuring the correct information is held within engine certifications, performing running changes to update existing certs for any updates to parts or subsidiary data, and creating brand new certs for new engines being produced by the company.- Work within the compliance team involving shadowing In Service Monitoring and In Service Compliance (ISM & ISC) meetings discussing the sourcing and monitoring of Cummins engines around the world to see their outputs further into the Engine's Useful Life (EUL)Projects:- Automated Test Data Scorecard - Created automated results database on Microsoft Excel for engine test cell data, pulling information on engine naming convention, test results for NOX, CO, HC& PN, and pass percentage, collated into a conditionally formatted, easy-to-interpret scorecard. This job had previously been inputted manually, so this project's aim was to prevent human error in the future, as the coding would allow for the scorecard to update automatically once new test data is entered.- Improved Signage for Waste Disposal across the Darlington site - Throughout my time working in the office, I had noticed, alongside Kirsten Spencer and Krithik Ramapriya, that the bins signage were unclear and unhelpful. We realised how wide spread and issue this was when noticing colleagues incorrectly disposing of waste and recycling, as well as facilities seemingly doing the same. So, we decided to recreate and implement new signage across all the office space on the Darlington campus to improve the sustainability of offices on site. We subsequently held an informational pop-up desk other 2 weeks, using a small game and prizes to show employees the new signage and system, and to allow for questions to be asked.
