In this role I support all aspects of Video & Audio Post production at CornerPost as well as providing IT support to CornerPost Staff & Clients. • Engineering Support: HD & SD VTR Machine Rooms, Routing Switchers, Legalizers, Scopes • Post Production Support: Avid Media Composer, Avid Symphony, Digital Rapids StreamZ Encoder, Autodesk Smoke & Flame, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Protools & Avid Video Satellite• IT Support: Windows XP/Vista/7, Microsoft Exchange/Outlook, Windows Server 2003 R2, OSX Snow Leopard & Lion, Cisco & Foundry switches, VNC/remote desktop• SAN Administration: Two Avid Unity systems totaling over 80TB

In this role I supervised a team of five: 2 ACSRs, a Scanning Technician & 2 Video Tape operators. My team supported all aspects of video post-production at the facility as well as offsite editing systems & SANs. Additionally I was responsible for planning, purchasing & installing new equipment & upgrades including: editing systems, SANs, VTR machine rooms, IT networks & cabling infrastructure.• Supervision & Training of Video Tape Operators• Supervision of Avid ACSRs covering two support shifts • Client Pre & Post-sales support: Goldcrest expanded its editorial client base & editing equipment inventory by over 400% during the 4 year period of my employment with the company. As a member of the teaching staff at AFTRS I provided instruction & technical support to AFTRS Masters & Graduate Diploma students in the use of editing equipment with an emphasis on non-linear editing. I provided technical support to customers in Broadcast & Video Post-Production industry: installing equipment, troubleshooting onsite & providing phone support.
