Project Exploration geology and mine geology (gold deposits) at Hanking’s Southern Cross Operation.Exploration Geology:> Project data review, geological assessment and target evaluation;> Exploration target estimation, drillhole (RC and diamond hole) design and modification, geochemical sampling design, map generation. Software packages including Surpac, Datamine, ArcGIS, Microsoft Office, Adobe illustrator, etc., had been used to accomplish these tasks;> Supervising exploration team and quality control of lithology, regolith, mineralogy and structure logging;> Quality Assurance Quality Control of geochemical sampling and assay results;> Geological and orebody 3D modeling;> Using and data processing of ground survey tools (Trimble GPS and Leica survey station) and down hole survey tools (North seeking GYRO, conventional GYRO, camera shot);> Training young geologists and field assistants/ pit technician;> Exploration result presentation, exploration report writing for the projects and tenements, and submission to DMP.Mine Geology: > Conducting dig block design, organizing and supervising grade control drilling, chip logging, sampling, assay data processing and ore block modeling for ore production;> Conducting blast movement monitoring and estimation, ore outline final determination, ore mark-up and ore spotting for minimisation of ore loss and dilution;> Investigation the geology including lithology, alteration, structure, etc., for the operating open pits, generating high quality open pit geological maps, 3D geological models and reports for ore wire framing interpolation, potential geotechnical hazard prediction, ore body targeting, near mine exploration, water bore design;> Collecting and reporting daily mine production figures to the other divisions and Perth office. Writing and revising procedures to improve production quality;> ROM management;> Writing fibrous mineral and heavy metal report for each project as a part of mining proposal.

The research focused on improving understanding of gold mineralization of the orogenic and porphyry gold deposits associate with tectono-thermal evolution in the Granites-Tanami Orogenic Belt, Northern Territory, for mining companies such as Newmont, Tanami Gold NL, and ABM Resource.
