Alynix’s mission isto empower data collection, management, and analysis so communities can unlock insightsneeded to make infrastructure safer and stronger.Ben’s contributions to projects and clients quickly garnered the attention of the remote sensingand unmanned aircraft industry with ample opportunities to work on national research projectsand provide thought leadership to peers through papers, speaking, and instructing. Bendeveloped approaches to improving significant infrastructure inspection using technologystacks based on small robotics and the data they provide. As a result, the American Council ofEngineering Companies and the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems Internationalawarded projects involving drones and infrared thermography on bridges that he hadpioneered.When presented with the unique challenges of establishing a company during the beginning ofa global pandemic, Ben’s business acumen and pulse on ever-changing industry trends,skillfully tackled supply chain issues, staffing challenges, and geographic isolation to positionAlynix to continue to grow, producing results that are rooted in science and providing user-firstproducts. As a strategic developer of people with an aptitude for teaching,he enjoys actively participating in robotic competition judging and mentoring.
